At MSM Equine Rehab & Care, my mission is to provide exceptional, reliable care that supports each horse’s health, comfort, and performance. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and what began as a passion has grown into a dedicated career. Over the years, I have gained extensive hands-on experience with horses of all types, from competitive performance athletes to cherished companions, and have developed a strong foundation in equine health, behavior, and handling.

I offer mobile equine care, basic veterinary support, and attentive daily care, as well as specialized rehabilitation programs tailored to each horse’s unique needs. Whether maintaining peak condition, providing dependable care while owners are away, or assisting with recovery from injury, I bring professionalism, skill, and compassion directly to your barn.

My approach is calm, patient, and focused on creating a safe, trusting environment for every horse. I believe in addressing both the physical and emotional well-being of the animals in my care, ensuring they feel secure, understood, and valued.

Exercise Rides

My exercise rides are tailored to meet the individual needs of each horse and owner. Whether your horse needs a focused schooling session in the arena or a relaxed ride out on the trail, I customize every ride based on your specific requests and goals.

Each session typically lasts about an hour, but the duration and structure are fully flexible depending on what your horse requires. From conditioning and groundwork to flatwork or simply keeping your horse moving while you're unavailable, I adapt every detail to support your training program and your horse’s well-being.

I ride in both English and Western disciplines, allowing for greater flexibility based on your preferences and your horse’s background.

Basic vet care & Support

I offer assistance with basic veterinary care to help ensure your horse receives timely, stress-free support during routine or follow-up treatments. Whether you're unavailable or simply need an extra hand, I can be there to help manage your horse’s care with patience and attention to detail.

Services may include:

  • Holding for the vet or farrier during appointments

  • Administering oral or topical medications as prescribed

  • Applying wraps, poultices, or cold therapy as part of treatment plans

  • Monitoring temperature, heart rate, and other vitals

  • Coordinating with your veterinarian to follow post-care instructions

  • Supporting wound care and bandage changes

• General wellness checks for signs of discomfort, lameness, or abnormal behavior

Ground Work

Groundwork sessions are designed to build a solid foundation from the ground up, helping your horse develop confidence, respect, and responsiveness in a safe, controlled environment.

Each session is fully customizable to meet your horse’s specific needs and may include:

  • Desensitizing to various stimuli for a calmer, more confident horse

  • Basic ground manners such as leading, halting, standing tied, and respecting personal space

  • Lunging for exercise, focus, and obedience, using traditional methods or tools such as the Pessoa system or side reins to encourage proper engagement and frame

  • Ponying from another horse for exposure, conditioning, or exercise

  • Addressing individual behavioral or handling issues with patience and consistency

These sessions are ideal for horses of all ages, from young and green to those needing a refresher or support through specific challenges.
